The Howard County Historical Society has recently posted old videos, including several oral interviews, on the local history pertaining to the Guilford and Savage areas as well as others in the County. The collection from "The Vault" is my favorite as it has interviews with some Guilford greats such as Leola Dorsey, Rev Samuel and Beaula Moore, and Naomi Carter. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLKnINMHYmFvIYk7CZbF28YbmSu45lEBVB
One oral history interview is with Mrs. Naomi Frances Carter who was the wife of Junius Eugene Carter of Guilford. She was the daughter-in-law of Samuel and Nora Carter, and she often referred to her father-in-law as "pops". Samuel Carter was the son of Willis Carter, the founder of the First Baptist Church of Guilford. Mrs. Carter lived in Guilford for several decades. - https://youtu.be/te_FPCLxDMw
There is also a specific section on African American history featuring those Guilford greats mentioned above and many more. - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLKnINMHYmFvLPlJZfgYdxNfPTgI5vZBl1
